Rodney is handmade via applique. What's that?

Well, Babs and Frank draw up lots of designs to get the right one, then Babs transforms them into a pattern. 

She cuts the pieces from different materials and sews them down one by one to make up the design. That's the applique bit.

It allows much bolder, cuter designs than knitting.

Babs slips a squeaker in Rodney's tummy and sews bells on his feet.

And because he's fully handmade (no glue shortcuts), he's fully machine washable so will be dancing every Christmas for years to come.
