Christmas Jumper Blog

Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day 2024 is on its way and this year the specially chosen date is Thursday 12th December. So it's time to get kitted out as you want to look and sound the part while doing your bit for a good cause.

Millions of people do it every year, so why not join them. Plus if where you work is a bit funny about you wearing stylish-yet-festive knitwear like ours, then there is nothing they can say about you raising money for Save the Children. Nothing.

You'll also want to avoid the mass-produced, disposable high street version with a handmade Woolly Babs Christmas Jumper that you'll get out over and over to squeak and jingle your way through the festive season.

Babs has been busy getting making her herd of Rudolph Reindeer, flock of Rodney Robins and ... colony? of Pablo Penguins, ready to make your Christmas Jumper Day 2024 memorable.

Save the Children have simple information on how to make a donation and resources if you want to make it more of an event at work or wherever you are on 12th December.

(It's probably best to start wearing your Christmas jumper around then and keeping it on until roughly the end of the year anyway.)

Save the Children's annual Christmas Jumper Day is on Friday 11th December.

There are many ways to get involved, but perhaps the simplest is for you (or your dog) to wear a Christmas jumper for school or work and make a small donation to the campaign. They suggest £2 each. See their site for ways to sign up.

We've been supporting Save the Children with their campaign since it started, which has involved making jumpers for giant dogs and even a flock of sheep!

We'll be wearing our jumpers with pride. The squeakers and bells are even more fun when you know your donation is helping the charity help children around the world.
