Christmas Jumper Blog

Save the Children's annual Christmas Jumper Day is on Friday 11th December.

There are many ways to get involved, but perhaps the simplest is for you (or your dog) to wear a Christmas jumper for school or work and make a small donation to the campaign. They suggest £2 each. See their site for ways to sign up.

We've been supporting Save the Children with their campaign since it started, which has involved making jumpers for giant dogs and even a flock of sheep!

We'll be wearing our jumpers with pride. The squeakers and bells are even more fun when you know your donation is helping the charity help children around the world.

Our festive tshirt tribute to the Queen on her Diamond Jubilee had a great time watching the flotilla pass through London.

Before setting off she gave the navigational charts one last check.

The excitement began to soar before the boats arrived when Peter Stringfellow appeared on a balcony above, only to be followed by Nicky Clarke. The Queen was about to be outshone by her audience.

And then there were boats! Hundreds of boats. You've never seen so many boats. One has never seen so many boats. Big ones, little ones, golden ones, scruffy ones.

Then the Queen went past. What a thrill.

And what a relief. Because then one's (grey, woollen) hair could royally be let down.

Though it turns out that some of us may have overdone it the next day. Get well soon Prince Philly!
